Treadmill training with variety

Different paces, intervals and longer blocks give the treadmill a regular place in our workouts. The content changes each day. Your coach explains the session and helps you choose an effort that fits your level.

Coach explains a SWITCH workout

Make room for strength

In the strength blocks, you use equipment such as dumbbells, kettlebells, resistance bands and your own body weight. Work through different movements and muscle groups, with attention to technique. Give strength training a place alongside your outdoor miles.

Questions from runners

Will I only train on a treadmill?

No. The workout combines strength and cardio, using other exercises and equipment alongside treadmill blocks.

Is this an outdoor running group?

This page describes our studio workouts, which you can combine with your own outdoor running.

How often should I do SWITCH alongside running?

That depends on your current training, goals and recovery. Discuss your week with the coach instead of following the same schedule as every other runner.

Can I join if I’m new to running?

You train at your level. Tell the coach about your experience at your first session so they can help with technique and a suitable load.

Is SWITCH a running club or an indoor workout?

You train inside our studios in Eindhoven, Tilburg or Veldhoven. The workout combines treadmill and other cardio blocks with strength work. Combine your outdoor runs with personal coaching, strength training and challenging intervals in the studio.

How do I combine SWITCH with long runs or intervals?

Count the treadmill blocks towards your overall running load. Tell your coach when you have a long run, hard session or race planned. Adjust your effort and allow time to recover. Your individual race plan remains your starting point.
