Ready to do something about it? At SWITCH, a coach helps you get going. Follow a planned workout with paces, weights and exercise options that suit your level.

Book your first workout

Your first time can be exactly that

You might not know how the equipment works yet. Or perhaps you used to exercise regularly and want to return. Tell your coach. You’ll receive an explanation of the workout and help with the movements. You don’t need to know the routine in advance.

Coach explains a SWITCH workout

What you’ll do

In 55 minutes, you combine strength and cardio using equipment such as treadmills, rowing machines and weights. The session changes each day and the coach explains what to do. Your pace and weights can differ from those of the person next to you.

Questions before you start

What if I can’t do an exercise yet?

Let your coach know. They can help with your technique or a suitable adjustment.

Is there a separate beginners’ class?

This introduction is to the regular SWITCH workout. Different experience levels train together, with coaching to help you take part at yours.

Do I need to make my own training plan?

No. The trainer team prepares the workout, and your coach explains it during the session.

What should I bring?

Wear comfortable workout clothes and sports shoes. Towels are provided. Check your booking confirmation for practical information before you arrive.

Should I choose independent gym training or a coached class?

Independent training can suit you if you want to choose your own exercises, order and session length. A SWITCH class may fit better if you want a planned workout, a set start time and a coach to help. A trial workout lets you experience that approach.

Do I have to keep up with everyone else?

No. You follow the same training blocks, but your coach helps you choose a suitable pace, weight or exercise option. You do not need to match an experienced member to take part.
